I now have a different feeling and thought about life. This one that is. I believe we are all connected and have only one purpose. To come back from where we started before we fell - to our Creator. We were created to have fellowship with God and we turned our back on Him and turned to worldly things that we could see and achieve and own and worship as many of us forgot our childhood and where we came from. Pride and greed set in. We had families who we worshiped and dreams we wanted to fulfill as society put things that were said to be important in front of us. Our careers, our homes, our cars, things that society called achievements that made us important. But what we forgot is that this life is but a puff of smoke in eternity. We're here - then gone............... But life still goes on. So what did we achieve. Memories for people left behind. Maybe money for them - maybe houses. But what did we get out of that? People say "I believe there is something out there - something in the universe that is more powerful than us." So, what do these people think it is? A magic wind perhaps that puts things in order and makes things happen. A universe that is so understanding of our needs and gives us what we need - Just when we need it?? Okay! So that's their thought. Have they ever thought beyond that and thought about who made this magic wind or understanding universe. Did it come about all by itself. OR maybe, just maybe there is a greater intelligence than anyone could even begin to describe out there. Or here! How did we get the knowledge of what is right and wrong. Everyone has that knowledge inside them. This was not learned knowledge this is our "Gut" knowledge. Where did it come from? How is it that our bodies are so perfect in their workings. Think about it. Where did that come from. Did wind and dirt blow together to form us. You will have to agree somewhere in all this that it must have started somewhere - sometime and from something greater than you or I can even begin to imagine. The socalled "big bang" didn't create life as we know it. It is too intricate for this to be a fluke. And just think of things in your own life - coincidences? There are just too many to be of a human nature. I an not trying to change your thoughts but maybe just open your mind to different possibilities. There is only one for me. I know there is a God and I know he sacrificed His only Son for us and I don't know of any one of us that would do that. Whether we like it or not, we are all connected as sons of God. Each and every one of us. No matter who we are. God is not a respecter of persons - we are all His sons and everyone of us will come back to Him. At least think about it and open your hearts.
